Display your own website in the embedded browser and configure the barcode scanner to send the scanned codes. Alternatively, use pic2shop PRO as an external scanner from another application or copy the barcode to the clipboard for use anywhere.

The embedded web browser supports various functionalities such as HTML5, CSS, cookies, JavaScript, and secure HTTPS connections. This tool allows you to easily and cost-effectively create a feature-rich barcode scanning application for your specific needs. For instance, it enables you to provide your employees with access to product information or asset tracking apps on their iPhones, whether over the internet or your intranet.

EAN and UPC barcodes can be scanned even on devices without autofocus.

This is not a shopping application. We do not offer hosting services or web applications. You are responsible for developing the web application and hosting it on your own server.

• Pic2shop PRO as an External Scanner:

• Pic2shop PRO can be launched by another application or web page to scan barcodes and return results back seamlessly. This functionality is commonly used for importing barcodes into applications like Filemaker Go.

• Syntax of Custom URL:

• p2spro://scan?formats=EAN13,EAN8,UPCE,ITF,CODE39,CODE128,CODABAR,QR&callback={callbackURL}

• The callback URL should be properly encoded with necessary placeholders for scanned barcode content and symbology.

• Starting Scanner from In-App Browser:

• The barcode scanner can be initiated from the embedded browser using a custom "p2spro://scan" URL that allows for a single scan with specific overrides like lookup URL and barcode formats. Javascript callbacks are supported within this feature.

• Please Note:

• For security purposes, HTTPS connections with self-signed certificates will not work seamlessly.
